We’ve seen a lot of things in property management… but this one left us speechless.
A former tenant moved out and left behind personal belongings—which, okay, not unusual. Happens all the time.
But what was unusual?
She took the toilet.
And the bathroom sink.
Yes. You read that correctly.
Somewhere between packing boxes and heading out, she decided those items were apparently coming with her. Not damaged. Not broken. Just… removed.
So now we’re standing in a bathroom like:
“Where… did the bathroom go?”
We’ve heard of tenants upgrading their homes… but this was the first time we’ve seen someone attempt a take-it-with-you remodel.
Moral of the story:
Please take your personal belongings…
…but maybe leave the plumbing fixtures behind.
